Dear friends,

Some of you already know this, but finally I am ready to announce generally that I have resigned my position of Middle Eastern Studies Librarian at the University of Texas at Austin in order to take up the position of Curator of Near East Collections at Yale University (Simon Samoeil’s old position until he retired).

I have very much enjoyed my time working at UT Austin, and I will miss my co-workers and the friends I have made here. However I am looking forward to the challenge of my new responsibilities at Yale.  My last day here at UT Austin will be 4 May, and my first day on the job at Yale will be 14 May.
