When the list traffic is non-negligible, I agree, but today, 99.9% of
the non-subscriber's traffic is spam, so I don't really see the point
searching for relevant message in it.

It's your choice, but I've removed myself from the moderator list. I
did a really bad job at it, so I prefer not claiming I try to do
it .
