Add "Export Mac OS X App Bundle" to the distribute game menu
This produces a working app, but it is preceded by a warning message because of bugs 946 and 933

The app is compressed as a .tar.gz because .zip can't have files with the executable bit set,
and generating cross-platform .dmg archives is too much work.
