I'm glad we agree that this is out of scope for BTNS.  I disagree 
that it is an appropriate extension to IPsec, in the form of a new 
protocol, at least in the router context that motivated the 
discussion.  I will send you the message I was about to send to the 
list, noting the reasons that this is not such an attractive option. 
I will not send the message to the list, so as to not perpetuate this 
exchange.
