M3UA protocol can be used in IP STP?

FYI
I was confused for this question for a while.
can the M3UA protocal is used in STP mode?
for Data Transfer Function,I think the SG can provide the IP to IP communication
but the status management function ,the M3UA is not defined as integrity as MTP-3.
if we add some routing management function for M3UA, so is there any possibility 
for STP use M3UA.
