Good point. I won't say "Frequently" myself, but sure, nothing is
absolute.

In the market we are addressing, the anonymous one (no info to fall back
on), we don't know who is "good person or bad person." When I say
"good guy" I don't necessarily mean one that is your friend. Good in
the sense they run a properly setup SMTP system and make no attempt to
hide it. You really don't know if they are "good or bad" people.

The fact is that "bad guys", the one that really aren't your friend, by
far, are using SMTP non-complaint almost and if not, by choice in some
form or fashion. IMV the #1 dearth to SMTP progress is how do we deal
with the legacy operation or one that behaves as one. I think the day
we decide how to deal with legacy software (in a IETF standard fashion),
is the day we begin to make progress in the AVS market.

But sure, some of the "good guys" do have poorly setup systems, and
guess what? For us, they fall in the same category as everyone else.
For me, it is rare exception that I personally have to white list a node
that for some reason or another has some "bad" state or information they
can't do anything about.
