Re: Darkness in the CIC

1) The monthly statistics are held up because IC(MLS) has taken a principled stand not to share his statistics (and decisions) with anyone other than parties. He is to be congratulated for this bold step which is firmly in the tradition of Quality over Quantity. IC(MLS) also knows that the orders he delivers are not to be placed in the public domain till such time as they become final (which involves being heard by a double bench).
2) As per a previous decision of CIC (versus High Court of Delhi) the cause list is not a document to be published under RTI. In any case there are 5 (not 4) ICs who are refusing to upload their cause lists and at least one of them has politely told Mr H to get appointed a Registrar first. Also, the CIC's NIC backend still runs on a Microsoft platform (ie. open to Chinese hackers) and people like me who use FLOSS platforms are unable to see the cause list in any case.
3) I guess Mr H can answer your query no 3 better than me. The present system is not even telling me about online complaints I have filed for non-compliance.
