Re: LA application
Hi all, Robin is asking for a LA grant to allow him to attend FOMS, LCA, provide a talk at SLUG, prepare a FOMS Europe collaboration, and do further relationship building between European and Australian Linux groups in particular around media applications. Robin has been offerend partial travel sponsorship from FOMS, but as a community member without an employer backing him, he will not be able to afford to pay for the remaining travel expenditure in full. Since I can see a lot of positive impact for the Australian open source community out of this, I'd support his grant request. Cheers, Silvia.
