Bug#507636: [qt4-qtconfig] Phonon configuration is grayed out

Package: qt4-qtconfig
Version: 4.4.3-1
Severity: minor

In the Qt4 configuration tool, all the widgets in the "Phonon" tab are grayed out.

This happens with phonon 4.2.0-2.

I guess this can be solved by building Qt4 against the external phonon library instead of only
disabling the internal one.

I can't neither reproduce it with Lenny. Try creating a new user, seems to be 
a problem in your setup.

kate - request an update/patch in debian

Hi,

The version of kate in debian experimental is susceptible to this bug: 
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=162546
This is quite severe since it causes fairly frequent crashes (at least for 
me). Could the patch given please be applied to debian's package, or the 
package updated?

Bug#439361: Problems still exists

I have a Lenny Installation and after the setup there was no problem.
But after some system upgrades i have also the problem that kdm crashes after a
logout in KDE.
But this happens now always and reproducible!

When i kill the KDE-Session with CTRL-ALT-Backspace the Login-Screen comes normal.

I have altered the configuration and now the problem has gone.

Please see that this option is set by standard in the configuration files.
It is very annoying when this problem comes up!

The severity should be increased.

Bug#405965: Mark it SOLVED, this is not a bug.

Hi,
finally i've taken some time to reproduce this bug in a Sid too.
(lo interface down and an active Internet connection)

So my conclusions are that this is not a bug, cause if KDE requires 
the lo interface up, and upping lo the system works well, the problem 
doesn't exist.

Bug#506976: konqueror rendering engine is obsolete

Hello, i can see that konqueror has a very old rendering engine that does not confront to today's browsing needs.
frequent users of konqueror may see the browser's incompatibility with pages like google maps, gmail, or
even slashdot.
anyway, what i suggest is that konqueror 3.x series is recompiled(if possible) to use the khtml engine that
konqueror 4.x series use,
that is much more compatible, or even the webkit engine, which is open-sourced and derived as you all know
from khtml.
