Hello, This question is not related with Gammu but it's related to Linux and mobiles (before Gammu or somebody connects to mobile). I'm connecting a Nokia 6120-C using the USB CA-53 (I think) cable to three computers. * Computer A: lsusb stops responding, computer works fine. I need to restart to make lsusb working again. This is the USB controller: 00:13.0 USB Controller: ATI Technologies Inc IXP SB400 USB Host Controller (rev 80) 00:13.1 USB Controller: ATI Technologies Inc IXP SB400 USB Host Controller (rev 80) 00:13.2 USB Controller: ATI Technologies Inc IXP SB400 USB2 Host Controller (rev 80) Kernel: 2.6.18-6-686 * Computer B: Computer stops working. Even the LAN connection gets lost (no pings from outside). If I type lsusb before everything is hanging, lsusb is also "blocked". USB controller: 00:0b.0 USB Controller: nVidia Corporation MCP51 USB Controller (rev a3) 00:0b.1 USB Controller: nVidia Corporation MCP51 USB Controller (rev a3) Kernel: 2.6.17-2-amd64 * Computer C: Kernel from Ubuntu 7.10, a laptop Dell computer. Everything works fine. Have you experienced any of these problems? Any USB Kernel option? Why it happends? I know that it's not related to Gammu but I thought that maybe you have some experienceI cannot boot a Ubuntu in computer A (doesn't work) or computer B (it's a kind of small server without screen, etc.) Thank you, -- -- Carles Pina i Estany GPG id: 0x17756391 http://pinux.info ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Gammu-users mailing list - https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/gammu-users
