Hi there, Is it possible for end users to edit the wiki pages, please, or do updates to the documentation have to be posted here? Or elsewhere? http://madwifi.org/wiki/UserDocs/Distro/Gentoo I'd like to do some work on the distro-specific Gentoo page, as it's quite out of date - Roy Marples has been an official Gentoo developer for some time, so his scripts are well integrated into Gentoo's default baselayout. I'd think this obsolete's Faye Pearson's script (s) - certainly madwifi-ng can be installed in Gentoo with just a couple of commands and is well-accomodated by Gentoo's standard init.d scripts. http://madwifi.org/wiki/Compatibility Also I wanted to update the compatibility page - I found the ALL0281 PCI doesn't seem to enter "A" mode and is indeed marketed by Allnet as a "B/G 108Mbit" device. http://www.allnetuk.com/ product_info_allnet.php?cPath=_&products_id=27101 $ sudo iwconfig ath0 channel 165 Error for wireless request "Set Frequency" (8B04) : SET failed on device ath0 ; Invalid argument. $ sudo iwconfig ath0 channel 9 $ Stroller. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
