ENBD on SuSe 8.2

Has anybody been able to compile ENBD on SuSe 8.2?
I am aware that Simon Oliver had the same problem I am having and that he
was able to successfuly compile on a SuSe 8.1 machine, but as far as I can
tell from the list the problem is still unsolved for SuSe 8.2.
