Re: [ANN] Hamlib 1.2.2 released

Has anyone successfully compiled the Perl binding for this release?

I have been busy testing a GUI version of my logger (Perl/Tk), soon to
be released. It requires Hamlib.

The last Hamlib to compile '--with-perl-binding' was version 1.1.4,
and I don't want to recommend that for use with the logger (due to
'make uninstall' problems with Hamlib.pm ).

The 1.2.2-rpm and devel-rpm on the download page don't appear to have
been built with the Perl binding.

When I compile 1.2.2 from sources, the ./configure script says it will
do the Perl, Python and Tcl bindings, but it then skips the bindings/
directory and doesn't build the goodies.

Any pointers appreciated.

Wilbert.
