Hi Krishnaprasad, Thanks for the reply. I cannot see the datastore at all, if I try to 'cd' into the respective VM directory via the console, the console just hangs. It turns out to be a partition issue. I am not sure how the partition table got corrupted in the first place. I am still working on this, however based on the entries in the hostd log, VMWare has the drive geometry wrong...
