RE: Change BIOS

It depends on what exactly you want to achieve. 
If you want to use the drives as one big volume and boot from it you need UEFI (just change the setting in BIOS). 
If you want to split the space into smaller volumes <2TB you can use it w/o changing BIOS settings. 
If you want to use the drives as additional space (no boot device) it also does work w/o changing BIOS
settings.

  Hello everyone,

i know that this is not stricly related to linux but i think here i should have a nice answer.

I've ordered 6x1TB SATA Disks for one of our R610 PE Server and i would know if the default bios (not UEFI) will
work with them (i will use probably RAID5 or RAID6) with a PERC 6/i (or H700 if 6/i doenst work)

I would like to know, if the setup should correctly work or i need to upgrade to UEFI BIOS, and, if yes, how
should i?
