RE: Change BIOS

No, as long as you boot from your 146GB RAID1 everything is fine with regular BIOS settings. 
Even if you choose to use a 6x 1TB RAID as data volume no change to your BIOS is necessary. Of course you'll have
to convert that 6TB volume into a GPT volume in Windows to access the whole space. But that has nothing to do
with UEFI and UEFI is not required to convert it into GPT.
