knetworkmanager turned into nm-applet when upgrading to F8????

I  just upgraded to F8, and *poof*, knetworkmanager has been replaced by a 
shell script that start nm-applet.

Any reason for this?

nm-applet does not seem to work with kwallet that contains all my wireless 
identities.
