I wonder if the comments in 52 and 53 belong in this bug.They look like driver
bugs, not configuration bugs (although I wonder if this may be a result of a
wrong configuration, I didn't experience them). Perhaps a separate bug on the
driver should be opened on them.

As for Fred's changes to drakxtools, they are not good enough:
- with wacom plugged my /dev/mouse link is pointing to "none", which means no
(normal) mouse in X. Why do we _still_ not use /dev/input/mice?
- it suddenly configures my mouse as a microsoft mouse. It is not. Protocol
should be ExplorerPS/2
- It adds AlwaysCore to the Pad. 
- It probably should use SendCoreEvents (although I could not find any problems
so far with it, as stated above, it is what the docs suggest)
- It doesn't install the wacom driver. So it doesn't work if you just plug it
the first time.

But, thank you for finally using the by-id dev entries!
