When booting into Rescue Mode, and selecting Go To Console, it seems that any  
commands that are entered are net with:  

  /lib/ld-linux.so.2 version GLIBC_2.1.1 not found (required by  
/mnt/lib/i686/libc.s0.6  

  /lib/ld-linux.so.2 version GLIBC_2.2.3 not found (required by  
/mnt/lib/i686/libc.s0.6  

  /lib/ld-linux.so.2 version GLIBC_2.2.2 not found (required by  
/mnt/lib/i686/libc.s0.6
