Re: Discrepancies Creating the Same ISO via CL & GUI

Hi Sam,

Concerning the exclude option, I would rather use:
-E "/home|/mnt/nfs"

About NFS, I would rather use something like:
-n nfs://192.168.2.105:/home/nfs -d mondo

In your mondoarchive.log-gui I cannot find any track.

I would advise you to try again mondo GUI, but with the NFS recommendation above.

If segmentation fault occur again, you can get more information through gdb and post it to the
mailing-list, I recommend you the following how-to:
http://trac.mondorescue.org/wiki/TroubleShooting

If you use nfs, don't forget my ticket #599:
http://trac.mondorescue.org/ticket/599
and to patch libmondo-devices.c as Bruno, in:
http://trac.mondorescue.org/changeset/2973

Rgds.
Victor

Subject: [Mondo-devel] Discrepancies Creating the Same ISO via CL & GUI

MondoRescue:
mindi-busybox 1.18.5-2
mindi 2.1.1-1
mondo 3.0.1-1

Operating System:
Debian 6 Stable (Squeeze)

Creating a backup is successful when started via the command line, but creating the same backup via the gui
fails with a segmentation fault as shown below.

Successful Backup Created via CLI
mondoarchive -O -n nfs://192.168.2.105: -d mondo -p "$(hostname)" -G -3 -s 700m -S /tmp -T /tmp -N -I "/" -E "|/home|/mnt/nfs|"
Logs attached:
mindi.log-cli
mondoarchive.log-cli

Failed Backup Created via GUI
Logs attached:
mindi.log-gui
