Re: Put all Boot Rom in a bootale CD?

Why not just LOOK at your network card, and download the correct
Etherboot image from rom-o-matic the first time, rather than doing
the hit-or-miss method ?

boot floppy or boot rom for network card. However, sometimes I meet some unkown network cards, and I have to
download several different ROM file, then write into floppy disk, then try to boot. then to repeat... It
really costs time and makes me not very happy. Why not put all ROM into a cdrom iso image, this CD should come
with a very simple boot kernel (only first few steps), after boot from CD, using your arrow key to
select/try the right ROM. It would make the setting of LTSP easy.
