Workarround for dead keys, euro's, etc

Hello,

Since some time the dead keys don't work anymore in an X2go session.
This seems to be a problem of "xkeyboard-config" from version 2.6.

Is there a workarround for this problem?
Is it an idea to use an older x2goagent with xkeyboard-config 2.5?
Any other nice way to give in special characters like the euro sign?
