Turkish government interoperability standards introduces OpenDocument format

Hi

Yesterday, a working paper on "interoperability standards in Turkish
government" is published with signature of prime minister.

It briefly says, "It's anticipated to force Open Document (Open
Document format for office applications) developed by
OASIS as a compulsive standart for document exchange purposes
in Turkish public administrations soon.

At the moment, according to the working paper, all office documents,
should be in html, pdf (non-editable) or doc/xls/ppt,txt,rtf,odp,ods,odt
(editable) formats.

There's a link also (Turkish):

Good news for all of us!
