As far as I'm concerned, SunOS 4 support is dead.  Does anyone still 
have access to a SunOS 4 machine that wants to run current cmucl on it?

Just go ahead, I think.  Code clean ups are good.

In fact, I've been contemplating reindenting all the C code, just to get 
consistent indentation.  I haven't because you have you Win32 port out 
there, so I didn't want to make merges more difficult than they have to be.
