I'm on Windows -- both LWW 5.1 and LWW 6 have the menu command Works
| Refresh. But I don't think the menu commands are editor
commands, so maybe this is a dead end.
I've done a little investigating, and I think the command "Font Lock Fontify Buffer" recalculates the highlighting.

Maybe I have a different version - I don't see that on the menu.
To what command is that bound?

The menu command Works | Refresh seems to recalculate the highlighting.
