Re: define-declare

I have made some progress, if I LOAD the string handling code from the Qi
command line it works fine but if I include the LOAD statement in a .qi file
which I load when I start Qi it doesn't.  It seems the way .qi files are loaded
is very different to what happens when the individual statements are typed at
the prompt.  Is there a way to load the .qi files in a way that the content is
executed in the same way?
