Actually, there are many people on the scheme48-bugs list who didn't
see my latest bug report solicitation; I only sent it to people who I
thought were active users.  For their benefit, I'll mention that the
version whose bugs I'm now trying to find is altdorf.ai.mit.edu:
pub/jar/scheme48-0-25.tar.gz.

I'll try to do something about the inspector problem.
