RE: connection refused when try to login to iclient

Disregard...  it was silly.  IMAP didn't start on that last reboot.

Subject: [IMail Forum] connection refused when try to login to iclient

Hello,

We have Imail 2006.1 running on Windows Server 2003 with Declude.

Yesterday the cpu got pegged and Declude fell behind.  I changed the delivery process to smtpd32.exe  until Declude caught up then changed it back to declude.exe.

This morning the same thing happened.

Suspecting that dictionary attacks are causing the flood I configured our dictionary attack settings.  After doing so, I had trouble restarting the Queue Manager and ultimately rebooted the server.

When the server came back up the Queue manager and Declude were both backlogged but seem to have caught up with no interference.

However, now we have another problem.  Clients get "unable to log into the system.  Reason:  Connection refused."  However, I can login in at /iadmin fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Katie
