That's really odd since the variable gnus-article-current is in both
Gnus 5.9 and 5.11. The function gnus-cite-parse-maybe is in gnus-cite.el
which requires gnus-art which require gnus-sum which defines
gnus-article-current.

What versions of Gnus does mh-version reveal for you? I suspect you
might have a mismatch between your compile-time and run-time versions,
but I could be wrong.

I thought things had been a bit too quiet ;-).
