I used ot have kaspersky with simscan. 

First thing is , that you need running avdaemon (not in current distro of kav, but from other can be used) and then just rewrite in simscan.c and configure.in. As my coding skills are low, i just recode path for binary from clamav to aveclient. also it need schange viri_args in simscan.c - then it should work.

interface is use aveclient from kaspersky.

for testing I use something like this.

QMAILQUEUE=/var/qmail/bin/simscan SIMSCAN_DEBUG=2 NOP0FCHECK=1 /var/qmail/bin/qmail-inject miki-5g1wdbQHHLo@public.gmane.org < msg.1234117181.655895.26700 

hope it helps, it was long time ago. its bad that simscan is not active.
