The email above is like a good number that I've gotten over the
last 6 months - "when are you going to have razor2-caching-proxy.pl
ready"?
Strangely enough, I don't know how to answer. The reason is
partly technical because my best efforts at figuring out the protocol
weren't enough to get the proxy working with the razor2 server and client.
I suspect it's at least partly political as well, because I've not heard
back from Jordan in 6 months and 5 queries for a copy of the razor2
protocol. I find that confusing as I've done my best to support the
entire razor project, from contributing razor-caching-proxy under the GPL,
offering support on the mailing list, sending in the odd fix, and
introducing my Sans students to it and encouraging them to give it a try.
Vipul, Jordan, I'd like to put in one more sincere request for a
copy of the razor2 protocol description. If you're not able or willing to
provide it, I'd like to hear that too.
My sincere hope is that you've simply been too busy to respond.
Cheers,
- Bill
