Threads? A thread doesn't really ever last more than a few responses. I mean whatever subject it is, you don't need to follow it for very long because it will change in a few anyways. Eventually they all turn into deep throating a corn dog or something like that. Well, unless it is a super long one about gun control and then I usually just delete all those. And generally people quote well enough so that I can follow the progression even if I haven't really read it all in order. And if they don't quote very well, then it probably doesn't really matter all that much, I won't spend much time worrying about what I might have missed there.
