Oh, well...

Technically speaking... all this information is there... it's simply 
not available for the end user to access through the Lucene query 
mechanism directly... this is because the emails are really model as an 
object three... so even if there is indeed an indexed field equivalent 
to the "from" header, this field is an "opaque" object pointer... not 
of much use to the end-user... one way to make such information 
somewhat accessible to the end user would be to index all email headers 
"as is" in addition to the current model...

So, while totally feasible technically, I have to admit that this is 
something I don't have much interest in doing myself :)
