This just occurred to me:

 

Are you justifying your rush to condemn the Hutaree people based on my alleged rush to condemn muslims?  Is that really the moral/justice standard you want to apply?  Seriously, I deny your implicit accusations of racism/prejudice, but let say for the sake of argument they were true.....your response is to do likewise but with a different race/religion?

The only person who has brought up muslims is you Thom?  Are you obsessed with them or something?  And why are you injecting race into this? 

 

BTW, the govt. is always suspect - our system is set up that way, hence the presumption of innocence. 

Of course I was the only one who brought them up.  If these had been 9 Muslims of any race... I find it hard to believe that you would be questioning the government on this.  Everytime there was a challenge to Bush, the Iraq War, the War on Terror... not once can I remember you asking if they were going to far.  But I remember you leaping to their defense a lot.  It's not hard to see the connection there.  Of course, the other point is, you were far less suspicious of the previous guys-who were even found by the courts to be doing things they should not have done (water boarding, the warrant-less wire taps, etc).  Obama sneezes and it probably means they are coming to take conservatives away.

Why is the current more suspect when they bring in possible terrorists then the previous administration was?
