So much I know, Finale PrintMusic 2008 doesn´t recognize strings at all. The "normal" and more expensive Finale 2008 has the "individual string per midi channel" option. It is OK to record midi and make notation for guitars or anything else. PrintMusic forces you to manual placement of fret positions. GuitarPro is nice, but it cannot recognize note lenghths, when you record midi. Again, you have a lot of editing work. Finale 2008 is very complex, but, so far I know has the most options, like audio recording, audio track import or microphon-to-midi. Hope this helps, regards, Djordje www.midiguitar.de ------------------------------------ --to unsubscribe send a blank message to midiguitar-unsubscribe <at> yahoogroups.com--Yahoo!
