Re: Privacy
Hm, the window looks as if it could set every aspect of how Jabber privacy lists work. But I'm a bit confused with why we need more than one list? And a lot of less experienced users will be even more confused. We're all used to having a single list that contains rules about what contact or domain is allowed to do what (see me, be seen, send messages etc). Is there any reason behind that multiple lists? I'd say we put that active list selection into some kind of "advanced" area (unfoldable or so) of the dialogue. And how does that "per-session list" work at all? Can I select a list to use for this session and from the next login on another list will be used again? Man, is this all (needlessly) complicated. I liked it the Trillian/ICQ style. One list for blocked contacts, one list for invisible users, one one for visible (if this is possible with Jabber at all). The auto-authorise option and anything related would well fit in here. -- -- Yves Goergen "LonelyPixel" <nospam.list@...> Unclassified NewsBoard Forum --> newsboard.unclassified.de Free (GPL), easy to use and install, secure, innovative!
