And here's my variant of "advanced" privacy dialog configuration:

The Privacy Manager list has radiobuttons in it, and the one selected, is the 
"active" privacy list. The default list could be set using "Set Default" 
button.

And in the Privacy List, the value could be edited by different controls (the 
one on the screenshot has the widget to set the value when type=subscription 
is set).

Having said all that, I think this kind of dialog is necessary for advanced 
users to tweak the things up, but there also should be a simplier way, but 
it's been discussed here already :)
