Something like this is done in evolution mailer - it uses filters to lunch commands for specific mails, but the idea is just like with the privacy settings. Anyway - evolution is using two dialogs http://vivid.dat.pl/psi/shot_evo.png First dialog - top left - is used to add new / edit / delete / and to place filters in order. On second one you can see settings dialog (this one is interesting I think). For choosing contacts/transport/etc that belongs to list, there are easy for users rules : contains / do not contain / is / isn't and more. Gerally - there is always a rule and it's negation. Rules are as simple as they can be. For mails there are very similar rules - you can add as many actions to the rule as you want. They are also as simple as it is possible. I think it would be best to join your idea of single dialog and idea of 'as simple as possible' rules (just ike in the evolution). PS. Sorry for my englishRegards, Przemek
