Akbar,

A lot of the timing depends on the environment.  Some of the things that 
can influence response time are...

Channel start times - are the channels to the repositories SSL enabled? Do 
they do certificate revocation lookups?  Are they on fast or slow 
networks?
Whether the repositories are on dedicated or application servers
Depth in the cluster XMitQ
Depth on the Cluster Command Queue
Size of the cluster
Number of repositories
Status of the repositories
Health of the cluster
Whether amqrrmfa is running or in the process of restarting
