Hiya :) (for the record) I was the one who contacted Sebastien yesterday. > i'm the maintainer of a well known list of open DNS server > since 2006 (http://80.247.230.136/dns.htm) yup I know. That was one of the reason I contacted you. You may know our T2 Public DNS are fully capable of resolving "normal" world domains. Additionally we only operate "non-existent" TLDs, so there should be no collision. I am hoping when adding our T2 Public DNS to your list, that more people actually get to know that something like opennicproject is existing. > i have received lot of comments (2 lol) to add your list since X years.. > > you understand as me the real trouble is DNS man in the middle > so i hesitate to add you. yap, we are of course aware of this. There are a lot of ISP resolvers and others (like OpenDNS) that even redirect NXDOMAIN's - which we don't. Neither do we censor Domains (as some ISP resolvers). > I think now i will add you but i refuse to add recent admins due to > the reason explained last line ;) > We should anyway, here at opennicproject.org, have some sort of monitoring on T2 Servers, so we can rule out any misuse. > What is the interest to create IPV6 servers ? too earn some octets ? ^^ Unfortunately my Datacenter does not provide any IPv6 yet :( Thanks again for replying :) _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss <at> lists.opennicproject.org http://lists.darkdna.net/mailman/listinfo/discuss
