Look back through the archives. I thought someone had identified thia
and some form of patch previously (or maybe they identified it and the
patch didn't make it...).

Did you try xorg7-nvidia?

Hasn't changed...
X_DRIVER_OPTION1="TwinView true"
but 2.4 has added the ability to add
X_SERVERFLAGS_OPTION(1-5)
X_SCREEN_OPTION(1-5)
