In addition, I use LogView:  LogView112.zip  .  Check on Hobbes.

I made a desktop object with:
path & file	E:\LOGVIEW\LogView.exe
parameters	e:\boinc5\bin\stdoutdae.txt
working dir	E:\LOGVIEW

That "stdoutdae.txt" can be any of the *other* BOINC log files; indeed 
any log file at all.
