It is a fact that unless a s/w is nearly as good as a commercial 
alternative, it will not gain momentum. On OO Vs MS Word, mileage varies 
from one person to another. I have been a Word user for a very long time 
and switched to OO. I found it measures up quite well. I suspect this 
would be the case for many so long integration across spreadsheets, 
documents and databases are not very high on the list.
