to be precise, gobuntu includes truely free software. It would not 
include anything that does not fully comply with four freedoms  viz.  
use, study, modify, and redistribute. The list of components that  it 
would not include goes from firmwares, drivers  to restricted/non free 
applications.  Its a free software distribution , and good for the folks 
who want to build products on free software stack and don't want to 
worry about someone raising with any licensing issues in future.
