Ubuntu 8.04+Sound problem

Hi,
I am using Ubuntu 8.04. Sounds are OK at the first time. But, sometimes,
sounds are gone suddenly. And, i need to reboot in order to get my sound
back.
My sound card is: HDA Intel (Alsa mixer).
