As another poster has already pointed out, MS uses Akamai and netcraft is
reporting information from the Akamai servers.

Incidentally, MS IIS 6 and MS IIS 7 have no existing exploitable
vulnerabilities while Apache does.

One side fact about Akamai (especially since September 11th is drawing
near), the Akamai founder and CTO Danny Lewin (a MIT Alumni and an
accomplished geek with many technologies attributed directly to him) was
one of the people who died during the 911 attacks. It is claimed that he
was the first victim of the attack, though that is difficult to prove:
