Re: Maltese translations in Ubuntu
Yes, I think it would be a good idea to put up a section of the site to coordinate translation efforts. Many more people are taking an interest in translating software and websites.

Raphael,We will soon be gearing up to collect data in the CLDR Survey Tool. <http://unicode.org/cldr/apps/survey?_=mt> - this affects a lot of open source, and some closed source, data. (the data itself is all open). Perhaps it would be useful to set up a single page with translation opportunities, and try to do some sort of concerted solicitation for volunteers. I have been trying to get involvement from the academic/linguistic community as well, might be able to cross-promote among the [kelmet] list and wikipedia folks.I would be glad to host a list of translation opportunities, or link to a linux specific page of them. What do you think?-sOn Nov 15, 2008, at 6:49 AM, Raphael Borg Ellul Vincenti wrote:I know that Daniel was interested in fixing/adding some translations in his Ubuntu installation.
