Unable to Install CentOS 5

Hi:

I'm unable to install Centos 5 (64bit) my machine.

When I selected options such as "Remove all partitions on selected drives and create default layout" (or
any other options). I got the following error messages:
An error has occured - no valid devices were found on which to create new file systems. Please check your
hardware for the cause of this problem.

Here are excerpts of the log (displayed when I hit CTRL-ALT-F4):
<6>ata4: SATA link up 3.0 Gbps (SStatus 123 SControl 300)
     <4>ata4.00 qc timeout (cmd 0xec)
     <4>ata4.00 failed to IDENTIFY (I/O Error, err_mask-0x4)
<6>ata4: SATA link up 3.0 Gbps (SStatus 123 SControl 300
     ....
     ....
     <5>SATA link down (SStatus 0 SControl 300)
     <6>SATA link down (SStatus 0 SControl 300)

Running lpsci, give me the following message:
     ...
     ...
00.09.0 SATA Controller: nVidia Corporation Unknown device 0584 (rev a2)
     ...
     ...

I don't think it is a hard disk problem, as there was a Windows installed before it (I already remove a windows partition).

     Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
ludwig Lim
