Hi All

I still have a bit of a hangup with Linux! Its so versatile that its
brilliant, but through its very versatility it makes the OS very complex
and therefore hard to set up.

Even though I have gone from RH 5.0, 6.0, 6.1 I still have major
problems with networking.  My latest was when I was updating a
pre-release version of Windows 98 to the current version, it blew away
the MBR  and I lost access to Linux. My bootdisk/recovery floppies did
not work (missing some files) so I did  a clean install. And now do you
think I can get the LAN working? Not on your sweet nellie!

So, once I have become a list member I will be picking your collective
brains as to how the hell make this machine stop being anti-social!
