I'll take a brief crack at it, without looking up anything in ref. material, which could help positive ID some of it: Generally, the fact that the devices are labeled implies they are programmed devices, and the sticker indicates something of the content which has been programmed within. The first sticker batch smells of boot PROMs. The high/low designator indicates they are to be installed in the socket for the high-order byte and low-order byte respectively, to make up the 16-bit data bus path. The LA5.01, LA7.01, and LA7.02 would almost certainly be the release version of the PROM code, and the 920803, 921204, and 930126 would be the date of manufacture. Notice that the dates do increase in step with the version, so this makes sense. The 56A2, 90FD, etc. would be the CRC check of the byte contents of the device. And lastly, the S/U13 R/U19 certainly looks like socket number locations on a board. The fact that there are two different U numbers given might imply that the PROMs are usable for two different boards, which might be indicated by the 'S' and the 'R'. Note that of the four sets, you have two which are identical. The devices which have 27xxx in the text are standard PROM devices, and the other text leads would indicate their function on the board. The remainders look like PAL devices. (?) Again, without referring to some of the Sun 3 hardware FAQ or technical docs, I can't state whether any of these devices belong to Sun 3 hardware or not. Have fun, Rick
